Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use Skillemy (the website and its services) to find, book or teach skill classes. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Your account
Give accurate details, confirm your email address, and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person may hold one account; parents or guardians manage the accounts of learners under 16.
2. Booking classes
A booking is confirmed once it is paid in full, or straight away for a free class. Seats go to whoever pays first, so an unpaid order does not hold a place. Class details (schedule, location, price) are set by the instructor and shown before you pay.
3. Payments
Prices are in Vietnamese dong (VND). Paid classes are paid by bank transfer with the reference shown on your order. If a payment arrives after a class is full, has started or was cancelled, we contact you to refund it or move you to another timeslot.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Contact us as soon as possible if you can't attend. Refunds and transfers depend on the instructor's policy and how close the class is to starting. If an instructor cancels a class, you get a full refund or a free move to another timeslot.
5. Instructors
Instructors are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, courses and schedules, and for running their classes safely and as described. Skillemy reviews profiles and course changes before they go live, and may hide content that breaks these terms.
6. Reviews and content
Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. Don't post anything unlawful, offensive or that you don't have the right to share. We may moderate or remove reviews and uploads, and you allow us to show what you post on Skillemy.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to access other people's accounts, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale or use it for spam or fraud. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Privacy
We use your details to run your account and bookings, send booking and account emails, and share what an instructor needs to run your class. We don't sell your personal data.
9. Liability
Classes are run by independent instructors. Skillemy provides the booking platform and is not responsible for the content or conduct of classes, except where the law says otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell account holders about important changes. Using Skillemy after a change means you accept the new terms.
